About the Presenter

Gabriela Escarrá is a sworn certified translator, university professor of English and literature, ISO auditor and proofreader specializing in marketing and corporate communications. She has two certifications in post-editing and transcreation. She has actively participated in the adoption and adaptation of several standards related to language and terminology. She is chair of ATA’s Standards Committee and the assistant administrator and professional development chair of ATA’s Spanish Language Division. She is an active member of the Asociación Argentina de Marketing and an expert member of the jury for its Premios Mercurio, the annual marketing awards in Argentina.
